Job Description:
Will act as a liaison between local, state, federal municipalities and other related parties to Altice to ensure proper documentation is acquired for construction activities.
Utilities associate will be able to provide assistance in documentation of network construction issues as well as documentation of equipment in the field.
Job duties as follows:
1.
Create, oversee and/or participate in the submission of detailed engineering plans as required by various municipalities and governmental agencies.
2.
Act as a liaison between underwriter and P.
E.
to help facilitate various types of cabinet powering, electrical inspection, and activation.
3.
Assist in the engineering and negotiations of interference projects (Maintain and Support) with various City contractors.
4.
Prepare Requests For Proposals (RFP's) for large projects that require more than $25,000 in labor.
5.
Attend, Department of Transportation (DOT) meetings to establish cost estimates on planned DOT projects.
6.
Attend various municipal meetings for large utility related projects.
7.
Coordinate police details.
8.
Act as a liaison between various railroad agencies to facilitate right-of-way within railroad owned properties.
9.
Participate in special projects and perform other various duties from time to time as requested by the construction Director/Manager and/or construction supervisors.
